Hi Readers!! Following up on the Influencer series, this week we have the beautiful Aimee Song, better known as Song of Style. Like her Italian counterpart, Chiara Ferragni, Aimee was born in California and is one of the “original” influencers, who had a blog, a deep relationship with sponsors, and now has almost 5 million followers. Her style is quite unique yet very achievable and inspirational, as it is super feminine and classic yet it often adds a twist, such as sporty shoes or a studded piece.

Aimee Song is one of the influencers lucky enough to be invited to every single fashion week show, for which she chooses to use carefully curated outfits for each occasion. Furthermore, you can often find her at the Venice and Cannes film festival, at her home in LA, California, or at any of the Revolve influencer trips, such as the Revolve summer fest this year in Bermuda.

Aimee has multiple sponsorship deals, including being a part of the influencer campaign concerning the new Dior Saddle bag, (remember the hashtag Supplied by Dior?), a deal with Ebay, where she shows customers how to purchase authenticated luxury goods from the site, and many others such as the brands sold by Revolve and the brand known as 73 Hours.

Nevertheless, Aimee is not just an Instagram superstar influencer, she is also a blogger, Vlogger (as in, youtuber) and makeshift cook (if you have ever tried one of her recipes for her non-bake protein balls, you know how good they are). But, unlike most influencers, what we most like about her is how real she appears to be. In her videos and stories she talks about her pre-fame struggles, her mental health and relationships, and many more details to show us that Instagram is not 100% real life, which is why we are also great fans of her perfectly curated Insta, as it shows this side of her.
Just like with Chiara, I am a big fan of Song of Style, and her super inspirational outfits, which is why I can’t wait to see more of what is to come! BUT, please remember that Instagram is not real life, and the making of this perfect life actually takes hours of work!!
